Harry Derbidge Boutique - Harry's World

Thursday was a great fun day spent with Annabelle's Wigs;

Harry Derbidge recently got in touch with Annabelle's Wigs with a photo and asked if four wigs could be made up for his shop mannequins in his Boutique in Essex. 'Harry's World'

The wigs arrived so we jumped in the car to take them up, style them and to start a new 'hairy' trend with mannequins;

Meet Barbara and Wendy - Harry's mannequins with their new hair...... extra high with extra length!

Harry checking out the fringe..... he is a happy, happy chappie!

Harry asked for two more wigs the same style but in different colours to be made up so that he can change the hair colours from time to time.  Modelled by Harry and Myself !

Who says that work can't be fun?

Harry is such a cutie that he wouldn't let us leave without giving us a little prezzie from his shop..... Love my new 'shut up' mug and bling ! - Thank you Harry

We couldn't resist the temptation to walk 2 doors up and pay Amy Childs Boutique a quick visit.... She stocks her own hair range with Annabelle's Wigs which you can view here

A little picture from inside Amy's boutique for you.

Richard asked if we could aim towards a traditional Egyptian look, based on stonework; I love the finished photos :-) We then gave it more of a fashion look             Finishing off with  a more creative Egyptian look; Hair and make up - Amy Prifti Model - Faith Obae Photographer - Richard Maxim Stylist - Falcieri Designs

1950's hair and make up for secret cinema screening of Grease the musical

I love doing hair and make up like this as it is so much fun.  I love any make up from the 1920's onwards as woman really knew how to style themselves and how to wear their make up with pride..... that and big red lips! Art Nude Photo shoot

PLEASE NOTE, THIS BLOG POST CONTAINS NUDITY. What ever your opinion is on art nude photography, I believe that if it is done correctly, the result should be a beautiful artistic photograph celebrating the human form. I was employed by photographer Richard Maxim for a shoot with the gorgeous Faith Obae model where we was joined by Claudia of Falcieri designs. It was a full on day and we decided to finish off the shoot with these art nude looks; Claudia suggested that we use the floor of the studio to create these looks, her reasoning behind it being that Faith would not be limited to the positions that she could create and hold.  Seeing as she was free to move I really feel that this was so beneficial to how the finished looks ended up. I made the last minute decision to paint half of Faith's body using a purple aqua colour body paint by Kryolan  and I am so glad that I did as I feel it really adds an extra dimension to the photos. The photo above is my favourit
